HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

I am offering the 50 OVER 50 special promotion package for just $541. The total value is over $880.

WHAT DOES THE $541 INCLUDE?

As one of my ‘50 OVER 50’ women, you will receive:

  • Pre-consultation with me to discuss how you want to be photographed, your vision for your photoshoot, what outfits you would like to wear, etc.

  • Hair and makeup on the day of the photo shoot (you will feel amazing!)

  • A fully guided professional photo shoot where I will pose you down to your expression and fingertips.

  • A reveal and ordering session where you can see all your beautiful photographs, and choose your two complimentary portraits—printed, matted and ready for framing. Additional portraits are available for purchase, however no additional purchase is required.

  • By participating in 50 over 50 Volume II you will receive your very own copy of “The Wisdom Collective”, a coffee table book that includes stories and photographs from the 50 over 50 Volume I women, as well as the 50 women from Volume II.

  • Your photos or a video along with your story will be published on social media.

  • Membership of Susanna’s VIP Group.

At 54, I decided to embrace the growing confidence of finally being comfortable in my own skin, and begin a converstaion with others about the fact that beauty doesn’t diminish with age. I wanted to find a way to shine the light on other women’s spirit, character, stories and wisdom. We need to change the way the world and the media define beauty, and I want to help that process along by offering an unforgettable photography experience. After all, by sharing our stories and supporting other women’s stories, we’re providing an opportunity to help women express their own worth and share tangible, relatable advice that supports ALL women. All women over 50 are invited. I have created stunning images of women of all different shapes and sizes; women with different tastes, from different backgrounds and with different views of life.

The Susanna Tanner Photography Experience is an exciting, pampering, indulgent adventure, custom tailored and focused on YOU!

Think about how you want to be captured, what does your legacy look like? As a photographer, I wonder at the trust I’m given by the people I photograph, who give me a glimpse into their soul and allow me to capture their spirit.

It is a precious gift that I don't take for granted. I don't want to take a photograph of simply what you look like, but rather who you are as a person. Flattery is important but capturing what others see in you and what you see in yourself is my goal.

  • Covergirl for a day! You will enjoy a fully, expertly guided magazine-style photoshoot.

  • Not photogenic? Nonsense! It is not your job to be. I've got you! It is my job to connect and make you comfortable, to show you in your best light with flattering posing.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Absolutely! When you see the 20-30 stunning images we have created for you, you'll probably want them all! Extra photographs (including the digital and 5x7 print on 8x10 mat) are $275 each, but the more you buy, the more you save. You can save by purchasing collections. The more you buy, the cost goes down. Our packages with 6 images start at $1395 + tax and go up from there. We do take credit cards and offer payment plans as well.

    I offer beautiful products to store and display your new photographs, including matted prints, albums, folio boxes and wall art. My most popular item is a glass-front eco-leather box, hand crafted in Italy, which sits on your mantel or bookshelp to show off your new matted prints. It's like a living frame, where you may swap out the photo in the front at any time.

  • Your shoot will take place at my studio at 1912 Straightline Pike in Richmond, Indiana

  • We have timeslots available for shoots during weekday afternoons by appointment. Availability is first come first served. On your phone chat with Susanna she will share next available dates and make sure to find an opening that works for you. If you are SUPER EXCITED to particpate but just can't possibly make those times work let's chat about your availability. I want to be as inclusive as possible for this project but I am working around my hair & makeup artist's schedule too. We will do our best to accommodate you.

  • One of the most exciting parts of this project is to celebrate all 50 of our participants and share your images and stories with the community. There will also be a book signing soiree featuring all 50 women's portraits once this project is complete. Our venue will be announced as we get closer.

  • I will be 58 next year, and I can relate with all my 50+ sisters of the feelings we have about aging and how we are underrepresented in the media. There's no expiration date on being a fabulous, happy, fulfilled, and vibrant woman. You inspire me. Your story inspires me. You show me and our society the truth-- that a woman just gets better with time, like a fine wine! I am a huge believer in women's empowerment. There aren't enough platforms for women over 50 to share their story and their beauty.

  • Whoa, stop right there beauty! I simply don't believe in "photogenic." It's my job as the photographer to make you look and feel amazing! And lucky for you I am a trained master at making women of all ages, shapes and sizes look amazing in photographs.

  • You can wear up to 4 different outfits in your photoshoot. We have a collection of over 100 dresses and gowns for you to play DRESS UP! Or, you can be casual in jeans and a black or white shirt. You can wear a sun dress. You can wear a fancy cocktail dress or jumpsuit. You can wear yoga clothes. You could even wear lingerie or your birthday suit. There's no rules. This is up to you! I want to photograph you based on YOUR UNIQUE VISION.

  • Certainly! You can definitely include loved ones in your shoot! Extra hair and make up is $150 per person (if needed). Part of your story is the people (and furry pets) you love. So if you want to include your loved ones, the more the merrier. And you also have total permission to make this photoshoot just about YOU!

  • Yes! I would love to also have your friends be a part of this project! Please spread the word.

  • I totally understand that life happens! I do book in my hair & makeup artist's time to be at your photoshoot. Therefore, you are allowed one reschedule more than 7 days out from the shoot at no charge. If we have less than 7 days notice (or this is the second time you need to reschedule) we do charge a $100 rescheduling fee.

  • We aren't "choosing" anyone. Every woman's story is inspiring. Every woman is beautiful. So we aren't going to exclude anyone who wants to be involved. Basically, this project is first come, first served. If you are willing to connect with Susanna through a "get to know you" call, pay your $541. participation fee, book your session date, are over 50 (or turning 50 this year) you can be a part of the shoot! YAY! The other limit is that we only have 50 spots available. Once we hit 50 women, we will create a waitlist of interested women.
