As a Richmond-based portrait photographer serving clients within 75 miles—including major cities like Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Oxford, and Dayton—I create an experience where you feel comfortable, confident, and truly seen. Through storytelling, I capture your authentic essence, creating magazine-style portraits that reveal the part of you waiting to shine.

2. Tailored Wardrobe Fitting
To ensure everything is flawless, you can schedule a clothing consultation before your photoshoot (via Zoom, facetime, or at the studio). Whether you need advice or a confidence boost, this step helps you feel your best. Plus, you'll have access to a mid-size studio wardrobe, offering a curated selection for your session. When you love what you're wearing, it shines through in your photos, elevating the entire shoot.
3. Professional Styling for Magazine Style Results
On the morning of your big day, you'll meet with an optional top-tier hair and makeup artist. She'll consult with you to capture the exact look and vibe you aim for. Whether you opt for professional styling, you'll step into your shoot feeling confident and fully empowered to own the camera.
4. A Photoshoot to Remember
Taking the time to understand who you are and what you want creates an experience that feels effortless, freeing, and authentic. I therefore ask, "When someone looks at your image, what do you want them to see?" This question helps me understand how to adjust the angles, lighting, music, and posing guidance to reflect your true self. All you need to do is relax, enjoy the moment, and let your essence shine through.
5. Professional Yet Natural Retouching
Following your photoshoot, I carefully review each image to select the very best. The level of retouching is entirely up to you, and we’ll discuss your preferences to ensure the result feels like you —refreshed, glowing, and beautiful as you are. Please allow up to three weeks for this detailed process.
